October 2016

Fall is definitely in the air although right now, it feels more like summer.  However, the flies are much diminished.  The horses have the full range of all the pastures and I drive around on the gator throwing out flakes of hay to supplement what little grass is left.

Everyone is now growing more coat and I have taken out the turnout sheets and got them ready for what’s to come.  Winter blankets will be next.  

Our newest barn cat, Nemo or Nemo the Magnificent (as Vada calls him), is doing very welll.  He’s recovered from his broken paw and is out and about and being adorable.
